Nigerian singer, Chidinma has reportedly fallen out with a show promoter over an alleged breakup ch of contract.


According to a report by Sunday Punch, a Republic of Benin-based show promoter, Romaric Boco, aka Air Dubai, is at war with Chidinma over an alleged breach of contract for a show in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
Speaking with Sunday Scoop, Boco said after agreeing and collecting some money for the show, Chidinma signed another contract with some other persons for the same show and refused to refund him.
The promoter said, “I have reported her to the Interpol in France, Benin and the Nigerian police. I paid her N800, 000 in advance and also gave her manager, Rasheed, N200, 000.”
In the contract letter made available to Sunday Scoop, it was agreed that Air Dubai Entertainment would pay Chidinma N1.8m for her service to perform at Abidjan on Friday, July 27, 2018, at Mix Night Club.
The letter also stated, “The total sum of N1.8m will be paid in two installments. The sum of N900, 000 will be paid to Chidinma prior to signing the contract agreement and N900, 000 will be pay to her at the Lagos airport when she is going for the show.”
When Sunday Scoop contacted Chidinma’s manager, Rasheed Ogunsanwo, he described Boco as a fraudster, insisting that all he said were blatant lies.
He added, “The event was done and Chidinma performed at the show in Abidjan. I have videos and pictures of the show. The people, who contacted Boco to hire Chidinma for the show, asked for a refund when they discovered he wanted to scam them. But he ran away with the money they gave him. I was in the loop from the start. I can give you the promoters’ numbers.”

Popular Nigerian comedian Bovi has taken to his Instagram page to call out a thief whom he claimed stole his tin of milk and other provisions while in secondary school 24 years ago.

In his narration, he explained how he had gone on hunger strike to save some the tin of milk and a box of sugar, for the last week in school, only for the items to be stolen by the unidentified thief.


To that my hostel mate that stole my provision in boarding house when I was in SS1. It’s been 24 years now. I still haven’t forgotten. (My pack of St. Louis Sugar and new can of peak milk). I saved those two through hunger pangs and days and weeks and months of starvation. I wanted to enjoy my last week in school and you robbed me of those rare pleasures.
Know that I woke up today and remembered and I took off my clothes to commit that crime you did me to the hands of the spiritual. I don’t know you but you know yourself. I consider it as one of the worlds unsolved crimes. Your day of reckoning will surely come. You will see milk and sugar in abundance but you will not be able to drink it. Amen

A teenager is finally getting medical help after living her entire life with two extra arms and fingers dangling from her chest.

Veronica Cominguez, 14, was born with the limbs and an oblong-shaped torso growing from her chest in Iligan City, Philippines.

The extra parts - belonging to a parasitic twin which did not develop properly - have continued to grow with her. She even cleans her living ''twin'' and cuts their finger nails for them. 

But Veronica is now finally set to live a normal life after locals raised money and officials organised for her to fly to neighbouring Thailand for an operation. 
Veronica said: ''When I was little, I thought it was just a foot. But as I grew up, it became bigger
''It's heavy, it limits my movement. It keeps swinging. My dress often gets wet.''

Veronica's mother, Flora Cominguez, said their family has a history of twins.
She was not able to properly see a doctor during her pregnancy but said that she knew that it was twins. She even had a name for both of them,Unfortunately, the other baby did not fully develop.
Flora said that Veronica's navel would always get wet because of the liquid that comes out of it. Sometimes, the discharge has blood on it. 
She added: ''The liquid that comes out of the opening smells bad, like human excretion.''According to Veronica's doctor, the extra limbs can be removed through a simple operation.
     Dr. Beda Espineda, a pediatric surgeon at the Philippine Children's Medical Center who also handles the medical case of Veronica, said: ''Most of these cases can be removed. Because, usually, the body structures involved are not vital. Most of them are just attached to the skin or bones. For surgeons, it is easy to remove.''
Veronica is now waiting to have her ''twin'' who has become a parasite, removed as soon as possible. 
The local government office in her village, which has her under its welfare care system, said she is due to fly to Thailand in the coming weeks for the procedure.
A spokesman from the Barangay council of Kabacsanan said last Friday (27/07): ''It has been 

arranged for Veronica to have an operation. and we hope that she will live a normal, healthy life 

after this.

''Life has not been easy for her but she's a very sensible, clever and mature girl. She's a wonderful pupil. Everyone is very pleased for her that she can soon have an operation.''

The death has been announced of elder apostle (Dr) Joseph Oluwole Adeyemi, Aged 86. Adeyemi who died in his Abeokuta Residence on July 24, was Minister-in-Charge of the Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Ebenezer Model Parish, Abiola Way, Asero Abeokuta and chairman of Abeokuta District of the church.
He retired from the high Court of Justice, Isabo Abeokuta in 1993 and was sworn as Justice of Peace (JP) in 2003.His body would be interred on September 8, at the church premises. He is survived by many children including Mr.Muyiwa Adeyemi, Head south West Bureau of the Guardian newspaper.




With gratitude to the Most High, we announce the passing on to glory of our father, grand father and great grand father, Elder Apostle J. O. Adeyemi. He passed on this morning at his Abeokuta residence. 

He was aged 86.

Until he breathed his last, he was the Minister in charge, Sacred C & S Church, Ebenezer Model Parish, Moshood Abiola Way, Asero, Abeokuta.

Pa Adeyemi, a Justice of Peace (JP) was a native of Imeko. He retired from the High Court of Justice, Isabo, Abeokuta.

His burial announcement will be announced later.


With a heavy heart, I pray for the eternal repose of one who was a man of distinguished humanity. Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel for the passing of my Grandpa.
In these moments of loss, words are useless. May God rest his soul in peace and the angels to always be there with him
A beautiful soul, full of love and faith, ascended to heaven, away from us, but closer to God, leaving loneliness and sadness.
Words cannot describe what I am feeling. I give my condolences to the entire family.

A 20-year-old self-confessed sniper of the dreaded Eiye confraternity in Lagos State, Mariam Abiola, Monday revealed how she killed four rival gang members in the Ilasamaja area of the state.

Abiola, who admitted dropping out of school in Senior Secondary School 3, was arrested on Monay morning. The girl, who was arrested together with three male accomplices, said it was easier for her to operate unnoticed wearing a hijab.

She told police interrogators that a member of her gang she described as an herbalist always prepared charms for her before she embarked on any major operation.

Abiola narrated, "I was arrested early last year in Mushin. I had run away from my parents’ home in Abeokuta, Ogun State, when I was 15 years. .

After I fled to Lagos in search of work, I was staying with one brother Wasiu, who is also a gang member. Another brother, Sadiq, said he would introduce me to a job that would be fetching me money. .
He said I needed to blend into the system by being a member of the Eiye confraternity. I agreed. Thereafter, Sadiq taught me how to use a gun. By the time I went through training three times, I knew how to fire accurately.

Anytime I was going to kill, Sadiq would give me the person's picture and send the address to my phone. I usually wore a white male flowing gown and white hijab whenever we were going to kill any rival member.

We always went in a group of four, including Wasiu and Segun. The gun was usually tucked inside my white flowing gown. On getting to the target's house, which was usually at night, other members would jump through the fence and open the gate for me. .

I would enter and fire the person in the chest and forehead before leaving there. At the end of each killing, Sadiq would pay me N10,000 and five others N20,000. I had struck at Fabiyi, Hassan and Aje streets and another street, all in Ilasamaja. .

Before we leave for any killing, we would visit the herbalist who would give us charms to put residents to sleep until the operation is concluded. I never felt bad killing anybody."

The downpour, which started around 4p.m. and stopped by 9p.m, caused river channels in the capital city to overflow their banks resulting in loss of lives and sweeping away of several vehicles.


Areas mostly affected by the incident include Iya Amolaso, Oke Lantoro, Lanfenwa, Totoro, Ijaye, Kuto and Kobiti areas of Abeokuta metropolis.

          A correspondent, who moved round the affected areas on Saturday, reports that residents were seen salvaging their personal effects from their homes while some were seen packing out of the affected areas. NAN gathered that three of the persons who were killed, was a food vendor and her two children, whose container shop was swept away by the flood around Kobiti Central Mosque area of Abeokuta. An eye witness told NAN that the food vendor, Halirat Akintobi and her two sons, were hiding inside the container when the downpour started and were later trapped in the shop. 
       The three victims were, however, reported to have been buried on Saturday morning in accordance with the Islamic rite. NAN also gathered that corpses of the two children were also reportedly recovered from Sokori River in Iya Amolaso area of Abeokuta. Somuyiwa Bisola, a shop owner at Amolaso area while narrating her ordeal, told NAN that the flood destroyed her shop and swept away her goods worth N5million. 

         She explained that her warehouse, which was stocked with a trailer load of soft drinks on Wednesday, was also pulled down by the flood. The Chairman of the Pain chapter of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Mr Joseph Obalanlege, who was on an assessment tour of the affected areas, described the development as “highly devastating”. He added that the corpses of the persons killed by the flood had been deposited at the morgue of the State Hospital, Ijaye.

        The Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmed Iliyasu, who could not ascertain the number of deaths, said the police had joined other disaster management agencies in ameliorating the situation. The Assistant Chief Planning Officer, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Southwest Zone, Babatunde Olowookere, said that the agency was working out plans to assist those affected by the flood. He said that the situation was aggravated by those building structures on water channels and dumping of refuse in drains. 




       The state Commissioner for Environment, Bolaji Oyeleye, attributed the development to indiscriminate dumping of refuse by residents into drains and waterways. Oyeleye said that the state government had earlier embarked on dredging of rivers, canals and clearing of drains in the state. He urged residents of the state to inculcate the habit of disposing their refuse properly and desist from dumping refuse indiscriminately. NAN reports that the Nigeria Meteorological Agency (NiMet) had in its forecast earlier in the year, listed Ogun as one of the states that would experience downpour.(NAN)

In professional settings, clients are treated while lying on a massage table, sitting in a massage chair, or lying on a mat on the floor. In amateur settings, a general purpose surface like a bed or the floor is more common. Aquatic massage and bodywork is performed with recipients submersed or floating in a warm-water therapy poor.

We’re paying close attention these days to the types of things we put on our skin so the term body peeling can make people nervous. I was until I started reading about what body peels actually are–because people have been using full body chemical peels for thousands of years.
The term “chemical peel” is used for any treatment that uses acids or enzymes to exfoliate your skin. Don’t panic–it’s not nearly as bad as it sounds. Enjoy eating apples? Malic acid is what gives your Granny Smith apple its tartness. Old tales of people washing their skin with milk? That worked because the lactic acid in the milk was acting as a chemical peel.
Why body peeling?
Because exfoliation is key to healthy looking skin. We’re naturally meant to shed dead skin cells but the little things don’t always get the hint when they’ve overstayed their welcome leaving your skin rough or scaly.
Dead skin can even build up enough that it can cause a splotchy, uneven tan which is not the best way to start your summer.
Exfoliating removes these dead cells and encourages new cell growth. Plus, it leaves your skin silky smooth and soft.
There are two main types of body exfoliation: physical and chemical.
Physical exfoliation takes the form of scrubs made of natural materials like salt, sugar, coffee grounds, and tiny shards of fruit pits and nuts. I love my salt scrubs, but when you think about it, physical exfoliation is kind of violent to the body.
You’re basically sanding down your skin with rough or sharp grit. They can cause micro-tears in your skin which can lead to discoloration, uneven texture, and leave you open to infections.
They’re also very uneven and messy. Unless you have a bathtub, they can get everywhere. And I really don’t even want to think about what all those fruit pit and coffee scrubs are doing to the plumbing.
Chemical exfoliation uses gentle acids to break down the bonds that hold the top, dead layer of skin cells together so you get even and complete exfoliation. These acids don’t cause cuts and can actually reduce the appearance of acne scars, those tiny skin bumps we develop on the backs of our upper arms, and other discolored spots.
When we love the look of being tanned but hate the idea of that much sun exposure, body peels can give your skin a healthy glow and reverse the aging effects of sun damage. Body peels even help shrink pores, prevent acne, and reduce fine lines.
Body and facial peels generally have different concentrations. For the most part the rule is that facial peels can go on your body, but body peels shouldn’t be used on your face unless otherwise stated.
The two main classes of acids that you find in home body peels are alphya hydroxy acids (AHA) and beta hydroxy acids (BHA).
Alpha hydroxy acids are naturally derived from foods. Malic acid from apples, lactic acid from milk, citric acid from citrus, and glycolic acid from sugar.
Since they are water soluble, AHAs can’t be absorbed deeply into your skin which is good in that you don’t always want to affect the healthy skin underneath the dry stuff, but that also means that they aren’t as good for deep cleansing of oily, acne-prone skin.
Beta hydroxy acids are oil soluble so they can reach deep into pores to clear out dirt, oil, bacteria, and built of skin cells. Most of us are familiar with one main BHA from our acne washes: salicylic acid, which comes from willow and birch trees.
Since they can absorb into your skin like a lotion, BHAs are great for reducing age spots, acne, wrinkles, and skin unevenness. BHAs can also be found in berries, yogurt, pineapple, papaya, and other fruits.
Which body peel is right for you?
Go with AHA peels if your concerns are: acne scars, discoloration, rough skin, dull skin, and sun damage.
Go with BHA peels if you concerns are: body acne, comedones, oily skin, and wrinkles. BHA peels are also typically better for more sensitive skin.
Lots of body peels make use of both types of acids for more complete, effective results.

Exactly two months ago Simi defined her own sense of everything with the release of her 15 track album titled ‘Simisola’. The album has received mostly positive reviews from both critics and fans of the pop star.
The 9th track on the album titled ‘Owanbe’ shines a light on the traditional Yoruba party. The groove, merriment and catastrophe that comes with it are all depicted in the just-released video which featured guest appearances from leading actors in Nollywood such as Odunlade Adekola and Jide Kosoko.
The video was directed by Ani James of AJE Film works.
